| Is MyCorkboard really FREE? |
| Yes, our MyCorkboard software is indeed FREE. This software is supported by sponsors and advertisers. All you need to do is register and you'll be able to keep using MyCorkboard for FREE for as long as you wish. If you choose not to register, your copy of MyCorkboard will expire after 10 days. You can register any time either before or after downloading the software. |
| Why should I register? |
| The foremost reason for registering is to prevent your copy of MyCorkboard from expiring. Registration is completely FREE, but if you don't do it, MyCorkboard will expire after 10 days. We do this because the software is free, and at the very least, we like to have some idea of who is using it. We don't ask for any personal information, nor do we ever sell our mailing list. |
| Do all these things I see really work? |
| Yes, everything works! You can type on the notes, the clocks tick, calendars show the correct date, etc. You can put your own name on the name plates, import your favorate photos and frame them, and play MyCorkboard pranks on your friends. Everything in MyCorkboard is drag and drop. Right-clicking on any item will display a list of properties and actions appropriate for the object. |
| Are the add-ons FREE too? |
| Yes, a number of add-ons are free. You can find those on the Free Add-ons page. We also have a variety of Premium Add-ons which require either a paid subscription or your participation in certain sponsored programs which are offered from time to time. |
| How often is new content posted? |
| We are no longer creating new downloads for this software. However, as it is, we have over 100MB of add-ons. |
| Will I receive email from MyCorkboard.com? |
| Registered users will receive mail directly from MyCorkboard.com maybe a few times a year, if that. Please be assured that we never sell or rent our lists to third parties. If you do not wish to receive mail from us, you may adjust your account settings to restrict automated mail. |
